Takata Recall at Škoda

Škoda runs several Takata waves: 69KH (2012–2014), 69PB (2014–2016, 13,456 vehicles in Germany) and the extension 69PC (2016–2017, 7,925 vehicles). The KBA group lists partly contain implausible model/period combinations (e.g. Roomster 2017); these are flagged.

A defective inflator can cause an uncontrolled deployment. Owners are written to by the KBA. The KBA record names the Roomster with a 2016–2017 period, but according to Škoda the Roomster was only built 2006–2015. This contradiction comes from the primary source and is flagged as a source conflict.
